Slowinski National Park and great moving dunes

People from all over the world come here to see great sand dunes. Their uniqueness lies in the fact that, as the wind blows it carries the sand and the dunes move slowly inland at a speed of 3-10 cm per year. Some dunes are as high as 30 meters above sea level.
The pine forests cover 80% of the whole Park and are inhabited by 257 species of birds. One of the things the people of Leba are proud of are the white sand beaches. Last year they were voted the cleanest beaches in Poland.
