Located 2,000 metres above sea-level on Genting Highlands, the park is easily accessed by road Kuala Lumpur or cable car from the foothill. Some of the highlights are the roller coaster, tube drop, Flight Simulator and Splash Pool. The park is a destination for those after fast-paced excitement as it is full of amusement games, interactive rides and superb shows.

Batu Caves

recommendation by _palisade

Climb 272 concrete stairs to find yourself surrounded by wild (friendly but also cheeky) monkeys within an arm's length and also a Hindu Temple/Shrine built within a limestone Cave.
Explore and embrace the Hindu culture with it's magnificent art work and statues. One in particular is hard to miss called Murugan. Almost half way up the temple cave is the Dark caves hidden behind trees where Rock formations can be found. Rock climbing is almost made available!

Kuala Lumpur, or "KL" as it is commonly known, is the focal point of new Malaysia. In the botanical and bird parks of the Lake Gardens one is treated to a first glimpse of the unsurpassed beauty and variety of Malaysia's plants and animals. In the Central Market, music, crafts, and cultural practices from Kelantan to Sarawak can be explored. In the National Museum, the dizzying multiplicity of Malaysia's cultural history comes into focus. Eating out in Malaysia is a real gastronomic adventure.
