Since mid-July to early August is being held at the Jerash Festival of Culture and the Arts. This event, which started in 1981, brings together the best actors of Arab culture throughout the world, both in music and in drama, poetry ... The setting is incomparable, as the various events taking place within the ruins, in the theater and the plaza north of Jerash Oval.

One of the best preserved Roman cities in the Middle East and has its origins in the ancient trade caravans of camels from the coast of the Arabian peninsula. Admission is 8 dinars (9 euros) and allows you to travel around the archaeological site: via columns, theaters, temples of Zeus and Artemis...
From May 1 until the end of September is celebrated every night (except on Fridays, holidays on the Muslim calendar) a sound and light show, between 20 and 21 hours. A montage that explains the history of Jerash in different languages, depending on the day of the week.
