This former Jesuit college, built in 1610, was burned by the Arabs in 1670 and rebuilt four years later. Inside are three museums: Museum of Religious Art, Museum of the Marine and Museum of Decorative Arts. Admission is about three euros. Outside you will meet with the local youngs trying to sell you any kind of coral necklaces. A good time to talk, teach English and learn Portuguese. Near there is the local of TDM for international calls and cheap but slow internet.
