The Hietaniemi cemetery is located in the Töölö district at western part of Helsinki. Almost all president's of Finland have been buried here alongside with many other Finnish celebreties such as writer/painter Tove Jansson and designer Alvar Aalto. Especially during summertime the cemetary could easily be said to be the most beautiful park in Helsinki. Don't forget to have some nuts with you: The squirrels at the cemetary are extremely social and cuddly. Many of them even eat from hand :)
