As a native Harrisburg-er, I have to mention the State Museum. While it’s not one of our most famous landmarks, the museum does host a fine collection of exhibits and artifacts that make Pennsylvania the historic state it is. For example, there’s a huge statue of Mr. William Penn(Sylvania) here. So come down and get your photo taken on our Liberty Bell replica out in front. It wouldn’t be a visit here without one of those. You can definitely afford to spend an afternoon here. Admission is free.
