One of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet, Yamdrok Lake ("Jade Lake") is a picturesque jade coloured lake that is over 72km long. The lake includes a number of islands. Is 4.310 meters of altitude. iS nice to stop for a walk but be carefull with the mosquitos in summer.
