Malacatoya de los Angeles

I'm an adventurer at heart and love to visit indigenous villages. This one is way off the beaten path--a community of only a few hundred that rebuilt itself in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Mitch. They've removed themselves from the coast and with the help of a Granada-based arts foundation and EU NGO's, the villages of Los Angeles are making papyrus paper and producing honey from their bee plantation for a free trade economy.
