Ölüdeniz is definitely the paragliding center of Turkey. Flying over this piece of paradise worths for everything. Ölüdeniz, in general, is surrounded by high mountains which creates a special wind circulation from sea to sky that provides enough push for the glider to remain long time in the air. The easiest way to reach there is to use a boat though. That is why the place is still preserved very good! It is possible to camp on the small beach lonely with nature. In the nights, the sky shows a great joy of stars since there is not even a single town close by. Romance is guaranteed!
Around 60 km away from Fethiye, a great valley lies down among the mountains. One of the longest ambulatory valleys of Turkey, Saklıkent is a real adventure. An ice-cold river flows through the valley which makes it even more exciting, especially when you have to cross the waters exceeding your knees to continue into the depths. The area is surrounded by amazing restaurants where you can eat your meal over the river listening it babbles under you. I recommend fresh trout fish cooked in butter!
