Historic Rosedale Plantation

ADD TO MY TRIP

This breathtaking structure was built in 1815 by Archibald Frew, a merchant, postmaster and tax collector. And yes, it unfortunately housed slaves in the mid 1800s. But it's one of the best remaining examples of a classic plantation left in the south. It's definitely worth a visit if you're into southern architecture.
