Milnerton Beach is well known for its lighthouse which is situated just behind the beach. The beach is manned by lifesavers and is great for swimming, surfing, long walks and of course sunbathing.The actual beach itself is not one of Cape Town’s best beaches but with great views of the mountain and a fresh ocean to swim in the beach is still very popular.
If it is windy, as it quite often is on Milnerton Beach, take refuge at one of the restaurants located right on the beach or at the cafés.
