It's a relic itself. It's in the same place where the first church in Bolivar's Square was built in 1539, though this one was built in 1807. Its front has a doric and jonic style. It's one of the biggest cathedrals in South America with its 3 aisles, chapels and altars, and art master pieces, a real colonial treasure. Antonio Nariño (very important in Colombia's independance process) and also Gregorio Vásquez de Arce y Ceballos (colonial artist) are buried there, amongst others.
