It's inside a small colonial house known as Casa del Florero, which got its name after an incident involving a flower vase. The owner of the house refused to lend an elegant flower vase to be used at the reception of Antonio Villavicencio, (a spanish royal commissioner, who eventually became a defensor of the independance cause), as a protest agains spanish despotism.There are documents, objects, furniture, letters, paintings and portraits of independence leaders of historical importance.
