Yalıkavak is located on the northeast of the peninsula and is home to many small islands. The cove actually is like a harbor so it's not good for a swim. The best seafood restaurants are mostly located along seaside. There is a special sea-lake in the middle of the small islands, but it is nearly impossible to swim. The place is best if you'd like to dive, or just to watch underwater life. With hundreds of species living there, Bodrum might have the richest underwater life of Turkey!
