It's getting hot now and I'm sure many of you love throwing yourselves into the water on the hot summer days. Well, I'm going to recommend a super cool place to satisfy your desire for taking a dip. Wendushuicheng, located in a nearby suburb of the city, is perhaps the best water park of Beijing. It is said to be the biggest water playground in Asia. However the most important thing is that besides the various water amusement programs they have a first-class spa!!! They also have hotel.
Things to do
QIanmen, literally means the front door, because it's located in the front of the Forbidden City. The old Qianmen zone was one of the poorest parts also the most complicated part of Beijing. There once lived the poorest people, the small vendors and the hookers. Also there were many old famous brands like silk brand 'Ruifuxiang', and the shoe brand "Buyingzhai". Now it has been rebuilt according its original look, you can go to visit the typical Hutong and taste the traditional Beijing snacks.
Jingshanxijie is my favorite street in Beijing. It's located among the 3 most famous resorts, its southward is the Forbidden City, the west way is the Beihai Park and the eastward is the Jingshan Park. As one of the nearest street to the Forbidden City, it's wider than the others. I recommend you to visit the Hutongs around this zone 'cause this is an old part that not has been demolished yet, a worth seeing.
