This building from 1877 was entirely remodeled by Antonio Gaudí in 1905-1907. It is a jewel and you need to see the entire building at least once if you go to the 'Ciutat Comtal'. I'm sure you will like the organic facade, the interior designs and especially the terrace.
Gaudi was the most remarkable Modernist architect in Catalonia and you will recognize his particular style in other buildings in the city.

Whether you´re a big fan of boats or not, you´re gonna love the cafe of Museu Marítim, if you´re a coffee-time lover.
Located just a street next to the famous Las Ramblas, 365 days full of tourists, surprisingly this museum is very quiet - even not many locals are aware of this place.
The building used to be the royal shipyard, built in the 13th century. It's built with heavy massive stones, however, the sunshine brightens up the space through the window that reaches up to 14m.

Tibidabo

party animal

Amusement park. But old. Very old. It's one of the three oldest amusement parks in Europe. The park and the tram that brings you up the hill to Tibidabo was opened and built in the beginning of the 20th century. The Avion, Carrousel, Ferris Wheel are more than 50 years old, at least. Back to the Classics.
The Ferris Wheel looks small, but remember, it's already more than 500ms up the hill. You can see the attractions of Barcelona: Sagrada Familia, Torre Agbar: only if you can open your eyes.

Les Rambles

naturalfancyfresh & funky

Les Rambles is the most visited place in Barcelona. A wide and long street where you will find flower and pet shops, human statues, live shows and more. There is always people walking up and down, day and night.
Please, watch out for your bags and personal belongings, because being the most visited place invites some "people" to want what is not their's! ;)
Without any doubt, a must-see.
