Being from the Midwest, a state park usually encompasses nothing more than a walking trail and maybe a swing-set. So I’m terribly jealous of my East Coast family for getting to use Sandy Point. This bayside park makes activities like hiking, swimming, rowing, fishing, windsurfing, and boating (just to name a few) easily accessible. They’ve even provided grills in the bathing area if you want to picnic there. I like the seafood vendors scattered about the park selling goods, too.
