The Jebbel Al-Qala'a hosts within its walls the old city of Amman, with settlements in the Bronze Age. With spectacular views of the Down Town and the Roman theater, also has an Umayyad palace (used for official functions) and the rest of a tank and a temple of Hercules. Within the enclosure is the National Archeological Museum, with an interesting and educational collection of objects from all eras and civilizations in the area.
