Devil's hole sits right on the edge of an airforce bombing ground and is a hot pool (the water comes up from an aquifer that lies under the area) where a unique species of pupfish lives. The hole is inside the bigger Ash Meadows Wildlife Reserve (which has 24 unique species).
It's a cool place to learn about rare desert life and to get an upclose look at the critters and their habitats.
