Went here randomly on a raining day in Albany. I was pleasantly surprised by the collections and we ended up spending all afternoon here. Did I mention it's free? The building itself is quite beautiful and the reflection pool in front confirms it. Apparently the exhibits here don’t change often but it was all new to me. There’s a really moving exhibit focused on the events of 9/11 but it may be a little too provocative for children. They might have more fun in the taxidermy animal section.
