Rock (in the very broadest sense of the word) CD and vinyl record store. It's a classic and if you're in the area it's worth a visit. Tons of records everywhere, pretty well organized.

Big record store where you can probably find a little bit of everything. Maybe a little higher priced than some of the other shops, but they've also got some collector's items that if you don't mind paying the high prices you might want to check out the records they have on the walls...then again, if that's what you're interested in you could always just check out their website for their ebay auctions.

This was the place where I developed a passion for sneakers! What a wonderful place! They've got great kicks at competitive prices and super funky clothing. Many of the items here are exclusives. Also, the sales staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This spot also happens to be on one of my fave shopping streets in the city - Elizabeth Street - though they recently announced that they are moving. New location is TBA.
Though I'm not a fan of perfume, I ended up in Le Labo due to a friend's recommendation. What I found there was fantastic! Simple and unique scents that are delicious but not overpowering. The store only has about 12 unisex fragrances which they mix for you right then and there, and they also label the bottles with your name. You can also buy scented candles in the same yummy scents. I own Vetiver 46, nice and spicy, but I love Rose 31 too, very unusual. These scents are not cheap but worth it.
Finally! A place where I can drink AND shop! This cute boutique/bar offers clothing by local designers, vintage/consignment items at reasonable prices, and alcohol ALL under one roof. Some might call this heaven, I call it genius!
