If you’re in downtown Geneva, get rid of the boys and hit up this super cute, local gift shop. The store is inside an old house, which is really cool. They’ve taken off all the doors and built shelves inside of them to display items. So there’s literally something to look at behind every corner. It’s the perfect store to pick up unique gifts, jewelry, stationary, candles, pottery, scents, and other odds and ends. My house is littered with ornaments that I’ve picked up at Cocoon over the years.

Really neat local gallery located inside a house (like a lot of store fronts in Geneva). Gallery 28 features fine art as well as functional art like pottery, jewelry, and furniture. When I went I was (unfortunately) not in the bracket to purchase any paintings, but I was able to afford a really cool, recycled purse. It was a clutch made entirely of pull-tabs (like off a Coke can) that was hand-crocheted. It’s seriously chic and looks very classy with a black dress, etc.
