20 mins from Shih Juo Town (along bus route to Alishan Forest Reserve (AFR) and 15 mins to Fenchihu (one of the train stop enroute to AFR).Bus from Shih Juo to AFR is 45 mins with lovely sceneries and fresh air along the way.The hosts (a couple) will bring you around, night excursion to see the wild nocturnal fliying squirrel and if in Apr to Jul, see luminous mushrooms and fireflies.Enjoy simple local village dishes prepared by Mrs Lu and their own homegrown, prepared oolong tea.Nice stay.
