To be honest, we ended up staying here because we were admiring it from the street. It’s this grand, sky-scrapper sort of building that has some very beautiful architecture. The rooms themselves were pretty great too. The bed was firm and comfy and there was this huge flat screen television in our room. The staff was good too. They took time to chat with us about growing up in Syracuse, etc. We really enjoyed our dinner too at Redfields, the hotel’s restaurant.
Places to stay
My mother and I wanted to visit each other so we wagered to meet in the middle of our respected homes. Ophelia’s is relatively in the middle so we booked a room for the weekend. The home is tucked behind trees, in a quiet part of town. The garden is marvelous and well-maintained and clearly loved by its owners. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the hosts were very accommodating to my mother’s dietary needs. The home itself is filled with fresh-cut flowers so you’ll never forget to just relax.
