Take a look to this hotel ! its really nice and cool, has a beautiful view from the rooftop.
It is situated very close to Termini station (50-100m), the room was cleaned every day, and towels were changed every day too, staff is friendly. In general the hotel seems to be renovated not much time ago. I didn't like the breakfast: it was the same every day, no fresh bread, melted butter, artificial croissants and low quality orange juice. Also room was very noisy because of traffic, but i think in this part of the city is a usual problem.
A four-star hotel located in the very central Rome, in the Calle Nacionale, 5 minutes walking to the Metro and 20 minutes to the Coliseo, that's ideal. It has a lovely hall and kind receptionists. The rooms are comfortable, but you have to pay for the internet, 2 euros per hour. The rooms on the first floor are a little noisy that I were bothered by the sound of the water from the next room. About 145 euros / double room with breakfast.
I stayed at hotel giulio cesare for four days in february 2010. I booked the economy room , and it was far better than i had expected. The breakfast is simply outstanding , and the hotel is very clean and in a quiet area , 5 minutes from piazza del popolo and from metro station lepanto. I surely recommend this hotel. You can book your stay through their website, in a discounted price.
Perfectly situated Hotel, in full center. Hotel ideal to visit Rome stands and to go out in the evening.
