I don’t understand why this museum isn’t more popular. The museum, which is pretty much a huge mansion, houses hundred of thousands of photographs, making it a premier photography institution. The home once belonged to Eastman Kodak Company founder, George Eastman who committed suicide. The museum also houses one of the largest collections of achieved film at around 25,000 reels. The exhibits here are always changing and they’ve never failed to not impress.
Places to stay
We made last minute arrangements at Reen’s and everything went off without a hitch. The home is wonderfully maintained and our room was very clean and comfortable. Reen isn’t uptight about scheduling so that was a huge plus. For example, breakfast isn’t between set hours. You can go down whenever you like for a delicious meal. And she’ll even give you a code to get into the building if you’re not there at a typical check-in time. The prices are very reasonable too.
