I’ve never camped before so I think staying in a log cabin is as woodsy as I’ll ever get. I stayed with my boyfriend and another couple in one of their medium sized cabins. I know they’ve got cabins sized for couples all the way up to eighteen-person cabins. The cabin was really cozy and had a fireplace, cable television, and heated sheets! It would very clean too, even the bathroom. Snow bunnies would be happy to know that it’s really close to ski and snowmobiling zones.
Places to stay
We had a wonderful time staying at one of these log cabins in the woods. They have five cottages available that come in different sizes and styles. They all have private decks, patios, and BBQ grills. We opted for the smallest cottage because it was just my husband and I. The homes were nicely maintained and insulated well (that’s key for cold nights in the forest!). The cottages are located right next to five waterfalls so that’s a real treat.
