Even though I am a born Korean, I didn't have chance to stay in a traditional house "Hanok" as I was based in the city all my life.
In January 2009, I made a trip to Jeonju, the well preserved Korean traditional town, with my Spanish boyfriend. My boyfriend was amazed at exotic 2 nights at Dong-rak-won: sleeping on thick blankets on the floor, heated up with wood underneath, breakfast with 18 small dishes, and nice places to walk around, including an old paper factory.
