Its on the Sheehy Mountains just a few short miles from Dunmanway in the south west of Ireland, really it could be a different planet. The magic is based on a few different attributes.Gypsy caravans, Yurts, Tree's, the old farm house (but totally up-to-date facilities) and the owners. Dreamy, relaxed, beautiful, uniquely wonderful. The gypsy caravans made it so very very special with a bon fire lighting outside in the garden all night. Come if only for the magic of Shiplake

Getting a little ferry and flying across the choppy waves to Cape Clear is the start of your adventure. Its 8 miles to the island from the main land and worth every splash of sea water and every gust of wind. We arrive to the island, which is just 4km by 1.5km in size and headed to our camp. Over looking the blue turquoise water bay, we pitch and took it all in. Island life is so unique and you feel that almost immediately. Its a paradise and you instantly feel at home here.We loved it so much :)
