This bed and breakfast leaves you with the impression that you’re literally inside a quilt. The rooms are decorated from head to toe with silk canopies and patterned wallpaper. I’m older (but not that old!) so I feel like it’s an aesthetic my own mother would like much more. I stayed here with a friend based on shear convenience – no I wasn’t in town for a quilting convention. There’s even a room for quilters with tables and machines that could occupy your whole stay.

New and very modern bed and breakfast is a great addition to Appleton. While it’s a little on the expensive side ($200 - $210 per night) I suppose it’s made up for with the extensive meals and luxury setting. The owners were very kind and accommodating, happy to show us around the inn. It’s nice when a owner reveals a real passion for their establishment. All the rooms were beautiful and had their own unique style. The room we stayed in had a Jacuzzi tub so that was a plus!
