We stayed here because we didn’t want to deal with all the congestion (and prices) of downtown D.C. -- plus it’s only twenty minutes away. We really appreciated the location right off King Street. There’s a lot of restaurants and shops there that really showcase Old Alexandria. When we arrived we walked into complimentary drink night for guests. They had wine and cheese plates set out so that was very tasty. And our room here was huge! Much bigger than expected.
