Centrally located hotel and hostal in Avila. Avila is quite small, but even so it is nice to stay within the walls of the historic center, here you're right between the cathedral and St. Teresa's childhood home. We had a jacuzzi bathtub in our room, at 75 euros a night it seems to me pretty great price for something like that.

Rural tourism is this "posada" in Villatoro which is 30 kms far away from Ávila and 120 kms far away from Madrid. Excellent service you will feel like at home. Very nice people and amazing breakfast. Also you can have in their restaurant the typical food from Ávila, "chuletón avileño", "patatas revolconas" and "judías del barco". After this heavy food I recommend you to go treking around this area where there is an amazig country side with cows, horses and other typical farm animals.
