Also known as stewed fruits, Hoşaf is a very common dessert which is eaten along with the meal (traditionally desserts are eaten after the meal). Since it looks like a kind of fruit juice, it is logical! It is said that it fits especially with a rice meal. Hoşaf can be served both warm or ice-cold, which I prefer ice-cold though. There are many types of Hoşaf but most popular ones are apple, quince, apricot, cherry and grape hoşaf. It is pretty hard to find it in restaurants to be honest...
