One of the best Coffe Shops in Toronto. Moonbean carries a massive selection of single origin, premium exotics, flavoured decafs, fair-trade organics, and their own signature blends. Not to mention dozens upon dozens of loose-leaf teas.
The “Hercu-Latte” delivers a serious jolt to the system, a giant caffe with a triple shot of espresso.

Take the 501 Queen streetcar across Toronto. This was highlighted by National Geographic as a must do, its 25km long and one of the longest in the world for a streetcar. See the city new and old. Begin or end in the Beaches neighbourhood,. Walk the boardwalk and enjoy a coffee at the Remarkable Bean (known locally as the Bean) or have lunch at the Garden Gate Chinese Restaurant across the street (known as The Goof) - both at Queen and Beech.
This really is the 'apple in the eye' of 'bars' in Toronto. Their philosophy as per their website is simple 'Passion & that cocktails should invigorate all the senses' and to be honest it really lives up to it. There are so many to choose so have fun testing them all. Campari Spring's, C.C. & T´s, Lavender Caipirinha, Bitter Velvet and the Jimmy Cliff. I tried the C.C. and T around 7 times. Excellent night out, excellent atmosphere and so many sexy people around to gawk at !!!
WE came back to this place a few times as I certainly fell in love with the lunch menu, handy as we were staying around the corner, shopping by day and hitting the streets come night. We thought it very reasonable, good lets-go-shopping food. The head chef is pretty famous by all accounts and has worked in some amazing kitchens.. Go and see for yourself.
Snack attack alert, we found this on the last day of our trip and I know that we wished we found it on the first day. A heaven sent, delicious selection of sweet delicacies, developed over the last 40 years by the owners. My favourite has to be the plum filled doughnut, I'm getting wet just thinking about them !!!!
