Stinky Tofu - 臭豆腐

This infamous delicacy which spread its odor in the night markets is actually one of the flagships of the Taiwanese cuisine. The fresh tofu is marinated for several days in a brine made from fermented milk, vegetables, seafoods and meat. It can be served in different ways, but the most popular are: deep fried and served with sauce and vegetables; or served into Sichuan hot soup.
