“I saw the shittiest bands in Seattle at the Sunset Tavern” proclaims the bar’s t-shirts, which may be true. But the Sunset Tavern continues to be one of the city's best venues to hear local and nationally touring musical acts. The interior décor makes you feel like you’ve tripped into a cheap Chinese whore house. Not that’s a bad thing, it actually ads a warm, fuzzy, welcoming vibe to the bar. The beers are cheap, bartenders efficient, and the engineers know how to make any band sound good.
