Kadayıf has an actual origin of Arab culture but it has gained its place among Turkish dessert for a long time. It is most probably the ancestor of Künefe! The ingredients are very similar except the cheese; walnut, hazelnut and pistachio. The outer surface is crispy and the inner layers are getting softer. Normally it is not served with clotted cream of milk but I recommend you try it with that. It is possible to find best Kadayıf in Southeastern Anatolia region!.
