Perhaps more than any other thing I was looking forward to during my time in San Fran was grabbing a good bowl of lobster bisque. Which is a pretty damn hard thing to find if you're not living in a coastal city. But, somehow, I wasn't able to find one and had to settle for a mean bowl of clam chowder from this place, which wound up being OK with me. The sourdough bread was also an unexpected delight. This area is pretty touristy, but this place retains a nice San Fran vibe.
