Just thinking about this place makes my mouth water. Betty’s has the best malt milkshakes. I’m originally from the Midwest so I know the difference between good diary and bad. I’m not sure where Betty’s diary products come from (I presume a nearby farm) but the milk tastes as good as home! The décor in here is straight 1950’s diner-chic. I don’t know about you but that always puts me in a good mood.
Eating & Drinking
They’ve been serving meat and entertainment here since 1966. I simply say “meat” because that’s what their menu screams to me. This is the go-to place for a good burger, steak, Rueben sandwich, or patty melts. They’ve got other options (salads, lighter fare, even vegetarian options) but they’re best at regular, ol’ meat and potatoes. Music acts of the folk variety play here often. There are ponds near by that I like to walk around after gorging myself on dinner.
