Cal taco doesn't really have a look and feel of a Mexican place, but the tacos are as good as any I've ever had. The massive, deep fried shells come with a bountiful amount of chicken or beef. One is big enough to fill, but they're so cheap, you'll feel guilty for not getting two. Plus, it's in a cool old fashioned former pharmacy.

Went to this family-run Old Market establishment almost every week when I was a kid. The ice cream here is great, and they have dozens of unique specials every day. It's the perfect place to take a date after a bite to eat, or just satisfy you're sweet tooth.
