This place is a Norfolk landmark where you find all the locals at. Not many tourists peak their heads inside here unless they’ve got the inside scoop. The food is American cuisine with a Southern twist in my opinion. You’ll find a lot of standards here, but they all seemed to be served with extra “comforting” ingredients. For example, they use Texas toast inside of regular bread. Plus it’s located in a really cute part of town, Ghent, that has a lot of interesting shops and boutiques.
