A foodie friend said to me a two years ago regarding Momofuku: "This guy (meaning the chef) should have a few Michelin stars and he is there, in that small bar in the East Village just cooking noodles". It's true. But what noodles! People agree with my friend and everyone makes the pilgrimage to this small, crowded, low-key place to order the Momofuku ramen, a yummy, excellent soup.
