Cuba meets New York. This is a nice spot to enjoy a cold beer plus an unforgetable sandwich. There are two habanas: one in Nolita and other in Brooklyn. You will feel yourself as a real newyorker. A cool one. Tip: order the Cuban Sandwich.Phone: (212) 625-2002

This is one of the most famous pizzerias in New York. Even famous people go there for a slice of delicious NY pizza. Pizzas are not expensive at all but they ARE delicious. That’s just all I can say about it ;)I recommend you to go to the Brooklyn one to have dinner there and then go to Brooklyn Bridge park for the night view of the skyline ;)Phone: (718) 819-2133

"Open Always" is its motto and it really is! You can get almost any type of food here, from pasta to avocado melts to nutella crepes. They also don't make you feel uncomfortable or rush you, so you can stay as long as you like if you feel like sitting around and sipping some tea/coffee. + GREAT place for people-watching. Lots of really interesting characters come in here. It IS located on the infamous St. Mark's, after all.:)Phone: (212) 674-9302

Only in America! This supermarket has it all! The concept is fresh, healthy, high-quality foods, home goods, and health/beauty items. Diversity and quality. The prepared foods are delicious - grab a plate and head over to Central Park for a picnic. The cafeteria is also cool in case you decide to eat there (they even have microwaves.) Their stuff isn't cheap, but it sure is good!! Located in the Time Warner Center. Tip: Clean bathrooms with free lavender lotion! Phone: (212) 823-9600

This is the biggest baddest Whole Foods supermarket in NYC. They have amazing high-quality foods and natural health/beauty products. They offer cooking classes, and even have a variety of small restaurants in the eating area upstairs. I love the prepared foods here and their amazing stock of natural and organic items. Check them out!Phone: (212) 420-1320
