Serving every possible type of stuffed paratha. Food at the former tends to be extremely spicy and hot unless you order their stews. You can't beat Jus' Parathas for originality and they come with Chole, Dal Makhni and Raita so one dish (around Rs. 60) is a meal in itself.
Eating & Drinking
Excellent food but little bit expensive if you compare with another restaurants (you will spend at least Rs. 700 per person (without alcohol)). However if you are really dying for good and beautifully presented Japanese food, this is it.
Pure vegetarian place where food is served acoording to strict Ayurvedic precepts. Its best to take their thali and allow them to offer you a series of cooked and raw vegetables, salads, ending with red (unpolished) rice and sambar.
They serve European style food, with a South-East Asia flavour, salads and soups including Cous-Cous and the like. They have generous portions, a rarity in Chennai without having astronomical prices. Try their sea food salad with prawns, mussels, clams, squid and so on.
Kabul professes to be the place for North West Frontier food but actually is one of those generic kabab and roti places but is not a bad place for such things. Their kababs in fact are rather good. Duchess claims to serve so-called 'Continental' food and is a place best avoided by people from the Continent, and in fact elsewhere!
