Very good pub with good ambient and prices. Cool for having a drink near the Hyde Park and for having a break after a tough day of exploration at London.

One of the last traditional pubs in Primrose Hill. Good food. Get a table overlooking the park in the summer, or go for the cosy interior in the winter.

Grungy, relaxing and wicked this is a great place to stop when visiting Brick Lane or Spitalfield Market.
Open from 6am - Midnight, it serves, breakfasts, burgers, kebabs and grilled veggies from the outdoor BBQ. It also has nice sofas to relax, wireless internet, DJs, live music and a great atmosphere.

This pub is a survivor. Stranded between high rise buildings, in the middle of Victoria Street it hasn't lost its charm. Close to Victoria, Westminster or Scotland Yard ... it's a good place to have a rest or a pint.
Recommended is the afternoon tea: A 3 level tray of sandwiches, scones, cream and teas. (breakfast is not that impressive, though)

Very original tiny pub built in 1720. Charles Dickens describes this pub saying "In its whole constitution it had not a straight floor, and hardly a straight line". And indeed this thin building conserves those old traits.
Upstairs there's a seafood and fresh fish restaurant. Delicious! (but book in advance!) Downstairs, good beer, a couple of tables, simpler food and a tiny terrace overlooking the Thames. Trully authentic.
The easiest way to get there is Limehouse DLR or car.
