Pasteis de Belém is definately a must if you're visiting Lisbon! Open since 1837, and still using the original recipe, these little custard tarts are mouth-watering just to look at. They are particularly amazing with cinnamon and sugar on top, still warm, and to drink, a nice espresso or port.
The place itself is also quite impressive: you can still see most of the original tiles, machines and other instruments used.

Tip: do not wait the line to buy the cakes to go. Go inside, the place is great and there is always table available. You can eat the cake with a Oporto wine or a coffee or even order from the table cakes to go.
