Pontocho is one of Kyoto's traditional nightlife districts where you might be able to spot a geisha apprentice at night
It's a narrow street running from Shijo-dori to Sanjo-dori, one block west of the Kamo River.
Try to have dinner at one of the river side restaurants, but be careful! Check the prices before go in or you could have a big surprise for dessert :)
