During the day is a fine restaurant and cozy by a lake with swans, bridges, gardens, but at night, especially on Saturday, it becomes a fantastic nightclub. Dj's funky, hip hop, soul, it is perfect to dance and know what is going on with the western comunity of Kathmandu.
An intimate and a preety cool venue for a beer or a dinner with an indoor and outdoor sitting. Jatra in nepali means festival wise. Jatra cafe and bar offers the essence of this festive mood in a warm and cozy ambience with good food, drinks and unplugged music on wednesdays. Try momos (the best in city), sukuti (dried buffalo), fried pork, salads. Its really cheap for the quality!!! You'll enjoy this for sure.
Hidden in an alleyway in front of the famous Kathmandu Guest House is a friendly place to eat, drink a beer and enjoy a good rock concert or classical music.
This is a very recommended breakfast place!!! get a nice fresh roll with egg or whatever you want inside, some salad, a fresh cinnamon roll, orange juice and just sit and relax in the nice garden. there are another in Pokhara but..is not the same. Really good chocolate croissant!!!
