This is a great place to grab a beer and listen to good music in Hoboken. Believe it or not, a lot of great music acts have come out of Hoboken. Northern Soul hones in on this and consequently has one of the best jukeboxes around. The drinks here are perfect. They’re stiff and cheap, the best of both worlds. The pool table here is always open too.
Eating & Drinking
This is best place for cheese steak sandwiches, not clams. It’s pretty much an old, throw-back dinner “where everyone knows your name.” But unlike a lot of old dinners, this place isn’t covered in grease from years past. None of the food here is good for you, but that’s not the point. Their hot dogs are amazing too. Try “the Frank,” named after Hoboken’s own Frank Sinatra, and you won’t be disappointed. It’s deep fried and only $3. It’s not a trip to Hoboken without a stop at Piccolos.
