You don't see too many German/French restaurants anywhere in the US, and you sure as heck don't expect to see one in Western Illinois. That's Galena for you. This charming bistro definitely feels like it belongs in a bigger city somewhere (except, thankfully, for the prices). All the dishes here - Pate & cheese, Soft German Pretzel, Wiener Schnitzel, or Coq Au Vin - were under $15. There's also a pretty advanced wine list.
